Catholic Youth Ministry responds to the needs of the youth of our parish and encourages sharing of their unique gifts with the larger community of St. Paul. Efforts are directed at fostering the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person and drawing of each young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the faith community.
The Youth are divided by age for activities. Jr. CYM is grades 6th -8th, Sr. CYM is grades 9th -12.
St. Paul the Apostle CYM is made up of energetic youth in grades 6-12. We strive to be young people dedicated to God and each other. With enthusiasm and joy we bring all that we have to the Lord. Through Parish Religious Education classes we grow in knowledge of our Faith and about ourselves. Through participation in Diocesan and parish wide events we grow closer to God, each other, family and friends.
Jr. CYM is made up of inquiring minds and joyful smiles. We are all those entering 6-8th grades. Box-in’s unite us with the poor and homeless, movie nights, trunk or treat, Halloween pumpkin patch, Jr. High Spectacular, are some of the activities we do. Sr. CYM meets on Wednesday evenings from September until May, the school year. Sr. CYM bonds with service and energy for those of us in 9-12th grades. Lock-ins, movie nights, service projects for parish and community, mission trip, Sr. High youth rally, Weekend Extravaganza, march for life, Prayer Chain, and many more activities bring us together.
